Many thanks for arranging another amazing trip to Tanzania. We had a hugely enjoyable journey with a spectacular list of birds and mammals. Tertius has wonderful guiding skills, a vast range of wildlife knowledge, patience and a good sense of humour!

It was a fantastic trip in every way possible and I can’t speak highly enough of Vince. His expertise, general knowledge (not only of things pertaining to birds), personality, intelligence, sense of humor, were all top notch. Andrew was terrific too. Also, we really enjoyed getting to know the other two people in the group and the four of us got along very well. All around, everything surpassed my expectations.

Vince (aka the master of the African lbj) was a terrific guide. Knowledgeable, energetic, experienced and good tempered as well as being a good driver. As visitors to the RSA for the first time we learnt so much about the birds, wildlife and habitats but also about many aspects of the culture & contemporary current affairs & society which really added to our experience.

Excellent day with Campbell, we saw many birds, especially the endemic ones. Excellent observation of the Rockjumper, Victorin’s Warbler … and great sighting of a Verreaux Eagle. Campbell found them very effectively, he knows them well and also the places. Very good birder, very nice. Thank you very much to you and your team!

Joel! He actually found the bird species we wanted & made sure that we saw them in the best possible way. He has a wealth of knowledge, was very motivated & told us a lot about plants & the landscape as well as the avifauna. He was also a safe & good driver & last but not least a nice guy. In short: 5 out of 5 star rating! I will gladly recommend Birding Africa & Joel to my colleagues!
