Growing up in Cape Town, Zoe has always been an outdoor person since as long as she can remember, and has become progressively more interested in nature and birds in particular. In 2023, despite her school responsibilities, she recorded a staggering 292 bird species within the City of Cape Town, one of the highest totals recorded ever and the highest among the Birding Africa team.
