Our 7 night, 8 day tour of the volcanic islands of São Tomé and Príncipe offers birders the chance to see all of the islands’ endemic bird species, of which, depending on taxonomy, there are between 26 and 31 species. The avifauna has a high degree of endemism, with more species on the larger island of São Tomé, located further from the African coast than the smaller island of Príncipe.
